Sanad Grants: pilot
An Arabic-first web app that helps finance teams in small NGOs follow their grants: budget versus actuals, checks against donor rules, and staff time split across grants. It is still in development, and we are looking for three organisations to try it with us.
What it does today (first version)
- Imports transactions from CSV or Excel and splits them across grants and budget lines.
- Budget versus actuals reports in Arabic and English, with export.
- A staff register with leave, and timesheets split across grants.
- An optional AI assistant that runs on your own key.
What it does not do yet
- Approved donor rules. The current pack is generic and experimental, and must be checked against each award agreement.
- PDF export and currency conversion.
- Two-step sign-in.
How we protect your data, and the limits
- Your AI key is stored encrypted, and only its last four characters are shown after saving.
- The AI runs only when you click a named action, after emails, phone numbers, long numbers and staff names are removed, and after you see exactly what will be sent.
- The AI writes nothing into your data; what it suggests is shown as a suggestion only.
- The audit log never stores prompts, replies or keys.
- A stated limit: whoever controls the server and holds the master encryption key can decrypt the keys. We do not use a dedicated key-management service yet.
- A stated limit: removal of personal details is pattern-based and can miss a name inside free text. Staff names and costs are stored as plain text in the database.
- So: do not enter real data until we agree the pilot terms in writing.
The pilot and the price
The pilot is free, with no card and no commitment; in return we ask for your frank feedback. The planned price afterwards is between 25 and 79 dollars a month, depending on size. That is an estimate and may change, and nothing is charged without a written agreement.
